Llywernog Silver-Lead Mine at The Silver Mountain Experience is a remarkable location of historical significance and with many rare features. Our Guides not only have access to an extremely rich source of fascinating facts with which to inform and delight our visitors, they have a wealth of original mine surface buildings and artifacts and a walk through underground mine level with which to bring their tour experience to life. Apply now if you feel you have the right aptitude and presentation skills to provide a historically informative and entertaining experience.

Note: Often our Actors are also skilled as Guides and vice-versa in which case please apply for either role as this adaptability would be welcomed.

Front of House Supervisor £7 to £7.50/hr
This very customer focused and hands-on post involves ensuring the day to day smooth running of the Admissions Reception, Gift Shop and Coffee Shop. It will require you to be numerate, with previous cash/till operation experience and preferably with some food service background. You will oversee a small team of Front of House Assistants and will be trained to be an active member of the Duty Management Team.

Front of House Assistants £6.50/hr
This role requires the delivery of excellent customer service within one or more of the Front of House areas: Admissions Reception, Gift Shop or Coffee Shop and you should be able to demonstrate your suitability for work in at least one of these. Cash/till experience and/or a Basic Food Safety qualification would be an advantage although training will be provided according to needs.

General Notes:
An existing First Aid at Work , Welsh Language, Advanced Food Safety or other relevant qualification may warrant an enhanced hourly rate.

Due to the limited frequency of public transport to our location, access to your own means of transport is highly desirable.

The Silver Mountain Experience is open 7 days a week during much of its summer season therefore you will ideally be available to work 5 days per week including weekends (weekend leave planned on a rota basis).

Applications for weekend only or part time work will be considered.
