Come to the Silver Mountain Experience this December for a very special Christmas event. This will be an experience like no other, bursting full of magic and joy! From our wonderfully fun and heart-warming Christmas characters, to our immersive activities, there is plenty included for the whole family to enjoy.
Your ticket includes:
Special live actor experiences
- Enjoy a magical elf-led adventure taking you through the Elves’ Workshops & Santa’s Grotto, where you will of course meet Santa himself! This is a very personal experience as the slot you book is exclusive to your family group.
- Meet Silver Mountain’s Grinch and embark on a quest – can you melt his heart so that he grows to love Christmas? Children (as well as big kids at heart!) will love this fantastically fun festive character.

Infant Ticket (Under 3’s) – £10.95 (Including Present)
Child ticket (ages 3-11) – £19.95 (Including Present)

The timeslot you book is for the Elves’ Workshops & Santa’s Grotto experience, this slot is exclusively for your family group only. You can arrive onsite anytime from 9.30am to make the most of your visit with us – we recommend allowing a minimum of 2 hours for your visit. Cookie Decorating is available in the café or heated undercover seating area from 9.30am, with the other activities available from 9.30am until dark. For those booked on our early evening (after dark) Elves’ Workshops & Santa’s Grotto slots, we suggest you arrive by 3pm to take full advantage of all the activities on offer.
All under 3’s need to have an infant ticket purchased for them.

FESTIVE TREATS

VISITOR INFORMATION
- Please ensure you arrive at least 30 minutes before your timeslot for the Elves’ Workshop & Santa’s Grotto; if you miss your allotted time we will endeavour to reschedule your slot to a later time or different day, but this cannot be guaranteed.
- We can accommodate a maximum group of 10 guests in the Elves’ Workshop & Santa’s Grotto at a time. For groups larger than 10, please book more than one slot. All other activities are suitable for groups of 10 or more to do together.
- Silver Mountain is set in rugged landscape with steep slopes and uneven pathways and steps, close to how it once was, as a working mine.
- Underground section of the Grinch’s home includes low ceilings.
- Due to the nature of this historic site, we regret that it is not suitable for wheelchair access. There are no disabled toilet facilities.
- Pushchairs can navigate the surface albeit with some difficulty. They are not permitted underground (in the Grinch’s home) or on the Elves’ Workshop & Santa’s Grotto experience.
- The overall experience is a mixture of indoor & outdoors – it can get very cold up here in the hills so wrap up warm and bring those raincoats & wellies if needed! You will be able to warm up in The Miner’s Rest Cafe and the heated undercover seating area too.
- The café will be open throughout the event, serving delicious food & drink and special festive treats!
- Why not have a browse of the Gift Shop too where you’ll find an array of stocking fillers and unique gifts.
