Heritage Weekend
We’ve had a whirlwind of a week here at The Silver Mountain Experience! We threw open our doors again for the main season on March 30th, with the second incarnation of our Heritage Weekend. It was fantastic to see so many visitors who had a fascination with the history of our mine, and mining in Wales. We wanted to thank all the associations that helped bring it to the public. Thanks to members of the Welsh Mines Preservation Trust and Cambrian Mines Trust, Archifdy Ceredigion Archives, Ceredigion Gyfyngedig – Ceredigion Off – limits, Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Wales, Ceredigion Museum, Spike the Blacksmith, Jewson Aberystwyth and all those who contributed to the event!
