At The Silver Mountain Experience, we’ve brought together the digital world of Minecraft with the rich history of our Victorian silver mine to create a brand-new, interactive family experience. Whether you’re a seasoned Minecraft player or simply looking for a unique day out with the kids, our Minecraft Trail and server experience is the perfect way to mix education, exploration, and fun.
A Real-World Minecraft Adventure
Included when booking any tour is our Minecraft-themed trail, specially designed for families and young adventurers. Steve has lost several valuable ore blocks across our site, and he needs help to track them down. Children will follow the trail to locate each missing block, then use a custom-designed map to work out the correct coordinates.
It’s more than just a hunt, it’s a chance to develop map-reading and problem-solving skills while fully immersed in a real-world version of the game they love.

But the experience doesn’t stop there. We’ve also created a dedicated Minecraft gaming station on-site, where children can explore a recreation of our underground mine within the Minecraft universe. This adds a digital dimension to your visit, blending imagination with the authentic sights and stories of our historic attraction.

The Minecraft Trail is free to take part in when you book any of our guided underground tours. It’s a great way to extend your visit and keep young visitors engaged throughout the day.
