The Victorian mine has been sitting quietly in the hills over the past few months, but from 27th July, tours will resume, and the site will re-open to visitors to enjoy discovering the history of the mine.
Visitors can also enjoy the 2 highly themed Escape Rooms which are also opening for bookings on the same day. Lucie Walford, the Attractions Manager discussed some of the measures that have been implemented to keep people safe. “As with many things, there are changes to the way the attraction will operate, with social distancing measures, reduced capacities, and pre-booking in place to ensure a safe experience for our visitors”.
The team haven’t been putting their feet up during the closed period however, as they’ve been working extremely hard to enhance the offering across the whole site. A café refurbishment, new external eating area and plenty of painting and maintenance works are just some of the jobs that the team have been busy working on during the closure.
